Fast, local-first visual workspace

Jestral

Give the whole project room.

Lay out references, notes, tasks and connected boards on one canvas. Jestral keeps the work local and the context visible.

Project Lumen / working pitch

Watch the pitch
come together.

This is Project Lumen: references, world rules, player flow and production tasks laid out as the project developed.

Find the look

Start with the images you keep coming back to.

Place them beside the research and the half-formed notes. Patterns show up sooner when the material is visible.

02

Connect the thinking

Turn the references into a pitch someone can follow.

Here, the world rule leads into the player loop, then into the work needed to prove it. Connectors make that route explicit; nested boards keep the detail nearby.

03

Keep working

Stay on the board when the idea gets practical.

Add the task, table or sub-board where it belongs. The plan stays beside the material that prompted it, so the reasoning does not disappear into another app.

Nested boards

Open up one part of the project.

Move into a character, scene or production system, then pull back to the whole pitch.

Local-first

No connection? Keep working.

Projects are stored locally, so the board is still there when the Wi-Fi is not.

Boards for very different work

changes with the job.

The shape comes from the project. A bakery launch, a live show and a footwear range each need a different mix of images, notes, timings and decisions.

Bakery launch / brand and service

Build the bakery before the doors open.

The shopfront and packaging sit beside the brand position, tone of voice and launch checklist. You can see whether the promise holds together.

Why I built it

The board kept getting in the way.

A useful tool turned into another monthly bill.

A busy board slowed down just when the project became interesting.

Basic fixes spent years on somebody else’s roadmap.

A big board should still feel quick.

Jestral only renders what is in view and is built to handle dense boards. Add hundreds of items without turning every pan and zoom into a wait.

Keep the project where you put it.

Use browser storage or choose a folder on your machine. Local projects are not uploaded to Jestral’s servers. Basic product analytics are kept separate from your project content.

Pay once, or use the free version.

The core app is free. The Lifetime unlock is one payment for extra ways to tailor the workspace, with updates included. Any future hosted cloud service would be separate.

Pricing

The full canvas is free.

Notes, images, tasks, tables, connectors and nested boards are all in the free version. The Lifetime unlock adds ways to tailor the workspace; it does not change what you can make.

Modules are separate tools for jobs such as presentations. Each one will have its own one-off price. The core app and its updates stay free.

Side by side

What the £39 unlock changes.

It changes how Jestral is set up and how quickly you can move around it. It does not change what the board can contain or the quality of the result.
